A leaked document on a Big Brother fan forum claims to have leaked the twist which is to take place on launch. According to the document 16 housemates – 8 men and 8 women – will enter tomorrow night at 9PM to compete for a £100,000 prize. Let’s face it, we knew already, but read for what Big Brother has in store for their first few days…
Updated: Channel4 have confirmed a twist on Sunday 7th June at 10PM as both heat magazine and Daily star had speculated. Both us viewers and the new housemates could be in for some big surprises for launch night and throughout the first week of the show. Heat has also said that this year’s housemates are set to be youngest and sexiest yet.
According to the DailyStar BB bosses are planning a live eviction show as early as Sunday 7th June where one of the 16 housemates to enter on launch night will be kicked out before their first week in the house.
The Big Brother 10 press pack has been released containing information about the shows, details of what we can expect from this year’s series and interviews with Davina McCall, George Lamb and C4’s Commissioning Editor for Big Brother, David Williams. Read on for all the news.
The first eye flashes of this year’s Big Brother eye have aired on Channel 4. The glimpses of the logo are almost indistinguishable from the eye logo that was released earlier this week, being very dark and abstract. Read on for the 3 short videos.
The DailyStar claim to have been leaked details of some of this year’s housemates. According to the article producers have got their final 25 housemates ready for 16 to enter on launch and 4 more during the show.
One of leaked housemates is named as Jade and from the north-east, with an ‘inside source’ saying “It’s very fitting that as we say goodbye to Jade Goody, we could say hello to a new Jade. Who knows? She could become just as famous.”
In an article from the Sun Big Brother host since series 1, Davina McCall, has revealed that the show is to be axed after Big Brother 11 when the contract with endemol is up. Channel 4 paid £180 million for 3 more years of big brother in 2006 starting from the end of the 8th series which saw Brian Belo scoop the £100,000 prize.
According to the Sun Article Davina has said, “It’s definitely only got two years left.” Adding “It’s become an institution — the summer is all about Big Brother, just like winter is all about the X Factor.”
The Sun article also puts forward a new launch date for the show – Thursday June 4th.
This years housemates are likely to include a dead ringers for model Kate Moss, singer Lily Allen, comedian Jimmy Carr and Prince Harry in what is being billed as the ‘wackiest house ever’ by the Daily Star.
An unknown welsh stripper is also on the short list for this series of Big Brother. According to the article a source said: “One of the team saw her in a lap dancing club. She’s a vile character who’ll sleep with any man… but she is game for a laugh, confident and a looker.”

The first pictures of the new house for Big Brother 10 have surfaced on fan forums. The small and poor quality pictures show the house in its initial construction phase. As always we can’t guarantee the authenticity of these images but they seem the real deal.
The Daily Star has reported that that the upcoming series of Big Brother will be the ’sexiest ever’ with all the housemates being aged between 18 and 22.
The Daily Star article also revealed that the new series is due to launch on Wednesday June 3rd.
It should be noted that the Daily Star has a notorious reputation for poorly sourced rumours and so the content of this article should be taken with a large lump of salt. It seems highly unlikely for the show to contain only a small range of housmeates.
