Big Brother producers have told viewers to expect surprises, twists and turns for the final series this summer, hoping that the show will go out in some style. Speaking to STV, producer Daniel Marlow said they were looking to ‘reset the standard’ of the show in its final year.
“I think people have learnt that with Big Brother you just expect the unexpected,” Marlow told STV. “You can expect surprises and you can expect twists and turns, and obviously with it being the final series on Channel 4 we’re hoping to go out in some style.
“The thing about Big Brother is it’s been a phenomenal show over the last decade, it’s probably been one of the best talked about shows on the telly.
“The standard’s been set and we’re looking to reset the standard, or even better it this year, with this summer’s Big Brother.”
Daniel was keeping tight lipped about what specifically we can look forward to in the summer, saying only: “Big Brother always aims to surprise both the housemates and the viewers, so yeah, just expect the unexpected.”
