Dane Bowers has finished Celebrity Big Brother 2009 in second place after receiving 34.1% of the final vote to win the show, the former boy band member was the fourth person to leave in tonight’s final of the last ever series of Celebrity Big Brother on Channel4. Dane was nominated four times during his stay but never faced eviction.
On Day 6, Dane sang a love duet with ‘media enemy’ Alex Reid. The pair performed Kylie and Jason’s Especially For You live on TV as Ivana entered the house.
On Day 17, the Tree of Temptation spoke to Dane and offered him the chance to win back the ‘special key’. The Tree challenged Dane to ruin the dinner with Chilli Powder, but despite his efforts the housemates had only nice things to say about his peppercorn sauce. The Tree gave Dane a second chance, one which he passed, winning the key.
On Day 23, as keeper of the key, Dane was rewarded with a boy’s night in where he enjoyed pizza, chips and video games with Jonas.
Dane was one of the favourites to win the show, battling it out with Alex in the bookies odds.
