On launch night a random tree was revealed to be placed in the Big Brother garden, tonight that tree – called the tree of temptation – will come alive and talk to the housemates, however this is no ordinary talking tree… it’s evil.

Senior Task Producer Danny Nettleton explained the task to CBBBi presenter Emma Willis: “Today the tree will come alive and speak to the housemates, whoever is near to the tree at the time.

“It’s a bit of a mischievous tree, an off shoot of Big Brother.

“The tree will give gifts to the housemates for devilish behaviour. It’s very cheeky, it’s there to get people to do things against other people for gifts.”

The first housemate to receive a task was Jonas, who was told to pour sand over another housemate’s bed in order to win better bed sheets for Septhanie. The tree warned that if he failed to complete the task or let the other housemates know about his task then he would incur the warth of the tree of temptation.

Jonas however didn’t listen and this afternoon admitted to the other housemates what the tree had asked him to do and therefore failing the task. Check back later to see how Big Brother will punish him…
