News has broken on various fan sites and message boards that live feed is to return 24/7 via the red button. Numerous ‘insiders’ with good track records to revealing information not yet released by Channel 4 have said that after a crisis meeting yesterday the live will return in a matter of days
Endemol and Brighter Pictures, the companies who produce big brother have reported been annoyed at Channel4′s decision not to produce the live feed. The u-turn comes following increasing complaints and falling ratings, with last night’s live eviction managing to attract less than 2m viewers making it one of the least watched episodes in the show’s history.
Update:Paula Carter, Channel4′s viewers editor, has reported denied the rumours of the live feed returning, it has now also been confirmed that one of the insiders was an imposter.
As it stands there has not yet been any official comment on C4 either via their website or from the press office. More news as soon as we get it.

Ch4 are a bunch of vvankers. It would give me tremendous delight to see them go irreversibly under because of this. They haven’t given one toss about Big Brother fans and have ruthlessly and repeatedly sh@t on them from a great height. On the upside, it will mean that the vile Davina will also be gone at last.
Please bring back the live feed.
It is very hard get to know, to care or be interested in housemates and the show generally when only an hours highlights are shown.
I’ve watched every series so far and it is sad that Channel 4 is damaging a show that has brought it such success in the past.
PS – no I haven’t been watching the endless repeats of Friends that seem to be shown in place of any live feed.
big brother is the best reality show on tv by far, cannot understand why its being axed, it makes our summer something to look forward to, you know if you showed live feed 24/7 like you used to your rateings would go through the roof, will be so sad to get rid off a great program, come on let this show carry on for years to come xx
