Updated: Channel4 have confirmed a twist on Sunday 7th June at 10PM as both heat magazine and Daily star had speculated. Both us viewers and the new housemates could be in for some big surprises for launch night and throughout the first week of the show. Heat has also said that this year’s housemates are set to be youngest and sexiest yet.
According to the DailyStar BB bosses are planning a live eviction show as early as Sunday 7th June where one of the 16 housemates to enter on launch night will be kicked out before their first week in the house.
An article in this week’s heat claims this year’s set of housemates are to be younger and sexier than in recent years. According to the article, one source has claimed there won’t be anyone over the age of 25. This seems unlikely to us – not to mention it would make an already struggling show worse.
Heat also speculated some surprises we might see on launch night, including:
- There could be two difference houses and two different sets of housemates from the very first show, living without any knowledge of the other.
- They might place a previous legendary housemate into the house on opening night after all the regular housemates go in, just to really shake things up. After all, it has been a bit quiet on the Kinga front recently.
- There could be a proper celebrity in the house with the civilians this year.
- The entire first intake of housemates could be men, similar to the gimmick they had a couple of years ago with an all-girl opening line up.
- There might be an opening night eviction – and the housemates would have to line up and decide there and then which of them gets the boot.
- All the housemates could be gays, lesbians and bisexuals. This probably won’t happen but if would be amazing if it did.
- Nude opening night!! All the housemates have to spend the launch night in the starkers.
Obviously some of these rumours should be taken with a large pinch of salt, but some of them seem reasonable. Tune into Channel4 June 4th at 9PM to find out what Big Brother has in store…
